i Sew: One-Night Maternity Dress

as i mention in my previous post, those are some overview of the dress.. its a simple actually..

I only cut 4 pieces for the pattern, 2 pcs for the top and another 2 for the skirt.. The top pattern  i traced from my favourite dress and I use this tunic tutorial to attached the skirt part..

the sketch pattern look something like the pictures above.. *ignore my ugly sketching >.<

and the out come is,

Front View.. the top is a bit tight actually.. I miscalculate my size.. >.<.. will make another one with right size next time.. ^^

Added elastic to make the shape look batter..

I practice bias tape technique for the neckline and the arm holes.. not really neat work here.. am struggling on curves part.. well, practice makes perfect kan.. hehe

the alternative style to wear to d office.. ^_^.. hemm.. maybe can consider this as a normal dress too.. will try it after i get back my normal shape.. lol!
